Wildwoodians, usually these captions are irreverent and lightly deranged, full of half-truths, fabrications, and outlandish claims, but I’m going to be sincere today. Brian Fallon’s music means the world to me, and we were lucky enough to secure one of the 59 Brian Fallon Signature Telecasters from the Fender Custom Shop. A little backstory: when I was 19, I had some gnarly health issues that affected my joints, and I had to stop playing bass and guitar. As you can imagine, that was devastating news, and I was in a dark place for awhile. During that time, the albums Brian made with his band, The Gaslight Anthem, were a constant source of light, and I carried their songs like a comfort wherever I went. Thankfully, my health returned after three miserably guitar-free years, Needless to say, I was overjoyed to see him get his due recognition with a Fender Custom Shop signature model, and I’m quite proud Wildwood got one.
