I’ll admit it, I’m in fall denial. I have yet to put out a single pumpkin decoration, light a pumpkin scented candle or consume a pumpkin spice anything. I usually love fall but this year I just can’t let go of summer. Im blaming it on the 90°+ temps and the flip-flops, tanks and shorts I’m still wearing! In hopes of getting in the spirit, I’ve been working on some new fall and Halloween designs. 🎃 🍁 👻 🍂 This fun guy is new in the shop today!

Forgot to add this to the bug party post. Each bug jar included temporary tattoos that match the other printed items. First time using this paper and there’s definitely a learning curve! I’m considering maybe adding these to my kid party collections once I get in my groove!

Finally posting about Finn’s golden bug birthday! 🐛 🕷 🐞🦗🦂He turned 8 on the 8th and his cupcakes received the golden touch. Don’t worry, no bugs were harmed in the making of these cupcakes (they’re chocolate)! All the boys had a great time holding and learning about the exotic insects and butterflies. Each guest got to go home with a bug jar complete with magnifying glass to continue the bug adventures. I can’t say enough good things about Not only was it super interesting, the building, specimens and staff were ahhhh-mazing! Everyone needs to go check out this hidden gem right here in Louisville! @ Idlewild Butterfly Farm
