☀️Summer is still an excellent time to plant trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, and herbs! You just need to keep one big question in mind: will you be able to water?💦

While we may feel uncomfortable due to the heat, the plants don't mind as long as they are cared for properly. Here at TPK, we are very conscious of our climate and offer great plants tolerant of both our northern winters and southern summers.

Now that hot weather is here, it's time to be extra vigilant about watering your outdoor plants. Proper watering is the most important factor for the establishment of all new landscape plants, particularly trees and shrubs. Every plant, whether grown in a container or in the ground, has different watering needs. Light level, exposure, air temperature, wind, rain, and how recently it was planted all affect the water needs. Follow the link below for tips on frequency, quantity, and technique.
