If anyone is wondering, I’ll be staying in my jammies all day recovering from a wild and wonderful weekend! So many thank yous to everyone who showed up to see Lou off! We appreciate every visit and all of your kind words for well wishes on our next chapter 🥰🥰🥰

We did have a few wreaths leftover, so they’re posted on the website now! Swipe to see our offerings - they’re unique and so beautiful & we hope they find good homes for the holidays! We’ll do next day doorstep deliveries on these - free, as always, in the metro Louisville area 🛻

We are so excited to be part of the Holiday Market THIS WEEKEND! This will be Lou's last show for.... TBD, but suffice to say it will be quite a while 😬🤰👩‍🍼⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Little Lou has been keeping a BIG secret! We’re having a baby! 👶🏼🎉😳

Many of you know that I launched Little Lou almost exactly a year ago as a hobby, and I continue to run this operation in addition to working full time. Although I know that moms can be absolute rockstars and do alllll the things - it’s become apparent to me that running around at 100 mph all the time isn’t what I need right now. Don’t get me wrong, I love you guys & love doing pop ups. But now I have to p*e a lot. And nap. And put together a nursery. And just get my weekends back to snuggle with my pup and read books and maybe get back in the yoga studio on a semi-regular basis. 😴🧘‍♀️📚

So - with all that being said - here are some upcoming changes to our operations:

💐We’ll continue to do deliveries (one-time and subscriptions) every Friday through the end of the year.

💐Our last event of the Fall season is going to be at Market on Mellwood THIS Saturday 10/16! It’s a full day event (10:30 - 4:30) right outside the Mellwood Antique Mall, and I would LOVE to see as many of you as possible!

We hope to also do a holiday market in early December, but it’s not confirmed just yet - we’ll post here to let you know as soon as we find out!

Once 2022 dawns, I’ll be focusing on family time! I’m not sure how long our hiatus will be, because I can’t even imagine what life is going to look and feel like once our little one joins us. I truly believe that we’ll find the right time to come back in some capacity, and I thank you in advance for your patience and understanding!

In the meantime, subscribe to our emails and sign up for our social media notifications so you don’t miss any announcements! (Lord knows that once I stop posting regularly the algorithm is going to banish me to the depth of your feeds!)

I can’t thank you enough for all the love you’ve shown us as we’ve built this business little by little. Cheers to a year well spent, and cheers to new seasons of life!🎉💐🛻💗

This is me cheesing because IT'S OUR ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!! 🎉🍾🙌🏼⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I genuinely can't believe we've made it a full year in business. And here's a thing I've never shared publicly before: that first day we launched? It started with the truck brakes jamming up as I backed out of our driveway (which is on a hill) and me crashing Lou through our neighbor's garage door (sorry neighbor!). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Despite the, uh, bumpy start, we posted up at Fleur de Flea's Fall Festival and were so blown away by the reception from everyone! We ended the day as a complete sell out, with tired feet and hoarse voices and lots of learnings (including perfecting the exact angle and pressure that is needed to efficiently apply brakes to our 44 year old truck 🙄)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We have had so many ups and downs over the last 365 days, but looking back - I am overwhelmed with gratitude. For every like, follow, and comment on our posts; for every bouquet subscription, delivery order, and visit to the truck; for every small biz owner who took us under their wing and offered us advice, a place to park the truck, or just some moral support. We wouldn't be here without each and every one of you. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Does it feel like it's been a while since we've done a pop up? (Hint: it HAS in fact been a while). Is this where I announce that we'll have a pop up this weekend? Sadly, it is not.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

We had a blast making arrangements for the interior and bouquets for all the guests, and (of course) the house itself is absolutely stunning!

We were saddened to hear that NULU Fest has been cancelled due to escalating COVID cases in the area. We hope to be able to do another pop up (safely!) on that date, and we will keep you posted when details are confirmed.

Anyone else absolutely stunned that it’s already September?? We have a big exciting month ahead with some private events, weddings, and a quick trip out of town, which means….. we only have one public event in September! 😱😱😱 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We are so excited to announce that we will be a vendor at NULU Fest this year on September 18th. It is an ALL DAY event starting at 11am, and we will be bringing lots & lots of blooms, so be sure to come see us!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And have no fear, even though we have fewer events this month, we’ll still be doing deliveries every Friday. Order wrapped bouquets or arrangements through the website to get your 💐 fix!
