It’s fall break. Your kids wearing you out yet? Have them come spend their allowance. 😂

Our “I Have $10” wall is full of LEGO® finds priced at exactly $10, tax included. If they’ve got a ten-dollar bill, they’ve got enough. No “actually, you need another 60 cents” at the register.

They get to pick something out and pay with their own money. You get a break from hearing “I’m bored.”

🚨DEBUTING: THE “I HAVE $10” WALL 🚨

This wall exists because we have watched some version of this scene play out approximately one million times: two kids crouched in front of a shelf, one counting on their fingers, the other with somebody’s phone calculator open.

“Okay, so if I get THIS and THIS…”
aggressive calculator tapping and/or complex finger maneuvers
“…I have 18 cents left.”

And then comes the question that ruins everything: “WAIT. HOW MUCH IS TAX?”

So we fixed it. Welcome to the I HAVE $10 WALL.
Your kid has $10? Perfect.
Everything on this wall is exactly $10.

Not $10.50. Not $10 plus whatever Mom has to cover at checkout. Not $10 before we introduce them to the cruel realities of sales tax.

TEN. DOLLARS.

And because things have a way of wandering around the store, every item that belongs on the I HAVE $10 WALL has its own special sticker.

Tax is already included. No calculator. No finger math. No “Mom, can I have 63 cents?” at the register.

Just the deeply satisfying experience of having ten bucks in your pocket and being able to buy something all by yourself.

The I HAVE $10 WALL is officially OPEN. 🧱💵

Okayyy, the retired set shelf is showing off a little. 👀

We’ve got some absolute heavy hitters hanging out in the shop right now: UCS AT-AT, 1989 Batmobile, Camp Nou, Pirates of Barracuda Bay, the Friends Apartments, Indominus rex vs. Ankylosaurus… basically a lineup of sets that make you stop mid-walk and go, “Wait. You HAVE that?!”

If there’s an older set you missed the first time around, this is your reminder that retired doesn’t always mean gone forever. Sometimes it just means you have to come treasure hunting. 🏴‍☠️🦇🦖✨

Current shop status:

The Eiffel Tower is still enormous.
The Tree House has entered its best season. 🍂
The Haunted House no longer feels like we put it out too early. 👻
And the Project Bag section is stocked for those of you who look at a partially built LEGO® set and think, “Yeah, I can fix that.”

Meanwhile, Louder Than Life is in town and apparently took the entire population of Louisville with it, because it is giving ghost town in here today. 😂

Which is great news if you enjoy browsing without another human being breathing down your neck.

We’ve also got room decor, clearance sets with newly lowered prices, used and retired sets, minifigs, bulk, and a whole lot more that didn’t make the photo dump.

So if heavy metal is not currently occupying your entire weekend, we are here. Please save us from talking to each other.

Well, Brandenburg… you wore us OUT. 💛

It was hot. It was long. We handed out a whole lot of free LEGO® bricks.

And we had an absolute blast.

The plan was simple: The bigger kids could test their arm at football, and we brought a simpler game for the little ones who weren’t quite strong enough to get the ball where it needed to go.

It should have been an easy, age-appropriate alternative. We called it Beat Steve. The object was simple: follow the duck.

The problem was Steve.

Steve tricked. Steve distracted. Steve bamboozled small children. Steve weaponized “made you look.”

Steve cheats.

(Video evidence in the comments.)

Whether they made the football throw or gave it three valiant tries, beat Steve or got completely hustled by a grown man with three plastic ducks, every kid went home with a free bag of LEGO® bricks.

It was hot. We’re tired. Our feet hurt. And we’ll see you next year, Brandenburg. 💛

*Our legal department would like us to clarify that Steve does not technically cheat. He’s just really, really good at mind games.

Louisville ❤️ we’ll be back in the store tomorrow regular hours with LEGO® at regular price. 😂

If you’d like to see the BAM Louisville fam today, don’t head to the store. The lights are off, the doors are locked, and we’re one tumbleweed away from a full-blown ghost town.

No A squad, B squad, or even C squad. Not the old man. Not the house elf. Not even our small intern from our neighbors at Yen Ching.

That’s because the BAM Louisville crew is headed to Brandenburg for our second Tucker Day.

So if you’re looking for us, grab the kids, grab the grandparents, and head to the Meade County Fairgrounds instead. Tucker Day is a full day of FREE fun for kids and families: games, rides, giveaways, and good memories.

Sorry, we can’t sell you anything LEGO® today. We’ll be too busy giving it away for free.

Tomorrow, Bricks & Minifigs Louisville is CLOSED.

Not short-staffed.

Not opening late.

Closed.

Because every single member of our crew is heading to Brandenburg for Tucker Day. 💛

We’ve packed up tubs and tubs of LEGO® bricks, and tomorrow we’ll spend the day playing games with kids and sending every player home with a free bag.

This is our second year getting to be part of Tucker Day, and we are SO ready.

Louisville: we’ll see you Sunday.

Brandenburg: we’ll see you tomorrow. 💛

Next Saturday, you won't find us at the store. You'll find us in Brandenburg. ❤️

For the second year in a row, the Bricks & Minifigs Louisville crew is packing up tubs and tubs of LEGO® bricks and heading to Tucker Day.

We're closing the Louisville store for the day so our entire team can be there together- playing games with kids, handing out free bags of LEGO, and helping make a whole bunch of happy memories.

Last year we had such a good time that there was never really a question about coming back.

Tucker Day exists to celebrate life and create happy memories for children and families in memory of Tucker Wimpee. We're grateful to get to be a tiny part of that again.

So: next Saturday, store CLOSED. LEGO crew deployed. See you in Brandenburg. 💛

And if you've been meaning to stop by the shop, consider this your very friendly reminder that we ARE here today.
You know. Just in case there was a set you've been thinking about. 👀

🚗 HOW TO UNLOCK YOUR FIRST BAM PASSPORT PRIZE IN ONE DAY 🚗

Step one: Tell your family you’re taking them on a day trip to Nashville.

This is true.

You are absolutely going to Nashville.

There are simply a few details about the itinerary that do not need to burden them yet.

Start Saturday morning at 10am at Bricks & Minifigs Louisville to grab your first stamp.

Then head south:

📍 Bowling Green
“It’s right off I-65. We may as well stop.”

📍 Nashville West
“See? I told you we were going to Nashville.”

📍 Brentwood
“This is still Nashville, technically."

📍 Hendersonville
“This is just a slightly different route home.”

Congratulations! You have now collected five unique stamps and unlocked your first Passport prize.

You have also spent roughly six-ish hours driving and irreparably damaged your family’s trust in the phrase “quick stop.” But hey- you let them stop at Buc-ee’s and bought them Beaver Nuggets. That has to count for something.

Each store is independently owned and has completely different inventory, so when someone says, “Didn’t we already go to one of these?” you can confidently explain that this is not remotely the same thing.

The stamps are completely free and never require a purchase. Surviving four additional minifig cases without buying anything is a separate challenge not covered by the program.

Pack snacks. Bring the physical Passport. Check each store’s hours before leaving. Maintain confidence whenever anyone begins asking overly specific questions about the route.

By the time they realize the BAM Passport was the entire point of the trip, you’ll already have your sticker pack unlocked.

And technically, you did take them to Nashville.
