ALRIGHT NERDS:

Its me, ya boi. Back with another ROCK SPOTLIGHT.

This week, we have African River Agate making a return for the 2026 season.

We have these because i was explicitly told NOT to do something, and i sent it anyways, but you'll have to visit me at the Tennessee Renaissance Festival if you want the whole story 🤫

Works out for you guys though because now you get THESE THINGS.

It is, technically, a rock. But let’s not be reductive here.

Agate is banded chalcedony, a microcrystalline form of quartz made mostly of silica. Its patterns form in layers over time, which is why every indivlidual piece looks like it has lore.

No rhyme or reason, just whatever came along over the course of thousands of years.

No two pieces are alike because geology can commit to a long term bit better than even I can. (And thats high praise)

So essentialy nature was freestlying and now i have a bunch of these things.

What you see is a representation, they come in about every color, size, shape, banding, you name it.

A true grab bag of rocks, you could say.

If you have followed me for any length of time yes, I did say I would never carry anything labeled, or remotely close to citrine.

Yes, this does say citrine on the bag.

Yes, I am currently choosing to become extremely annoying about the technicalities.

This is *not* Citrine. Its Topaz.

This is also not hypocrisy.
This is **advanced rock law**.

Due to supply shortages and the cruel mistress of economics, I have been forced into a gray area, morally and commercially.
