Halloween shirts #2 and #3 are complete! 🎃👻

Today I’m creating for my two youngest granddaughters, sisters JoJo and Reagan! I wanted their shirts to coordinate, so I started with matching black-and-white striped tops and then gave each one her own Halloween design.

For JoJo, it’s “Sugar Me Up” with sweet little candy details, and for Reagan, “Hey Boo” with those adorable ghosts. 🧡 I mixed patterns by silkscreen printing, and a little fabric layering to give each design that fun Odessa Rose touch.

These two sisters are going to be absolutely adorable together on trick-or-treat night! 🖤🧡

You know I LOVE creating for my grandkids, so I’ve given myself a little challenge this week—Halloween shirts for all NINE of them! 🎃👻

First up is 9-year-old Hank, and his shirt is definitely BAD TO THE BONE! 💀🦴

I pulled out this retired Chalk Couture transfer and used ink to cover his shirt with all these creepy little skeleton critters. I couldn’t resist carrying the bones onto the sleeve and adding that snake to the back, too. Because apparently I don’t know when to stop. 😂

One down… EIGHT to go! Stay tuned to see which grandkid—and which Halloween design—is next! 🖤🎃

I am officially in my mallard duck era! 🦆🤎

I’ve been loving the mallard duck trend lately, so when I saw this camo sweatshirt, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. Of course, I couldn’t just add a duck and call it done…I had to Odessa Rose it! 😉

I hand-painted the mallard and then used Chalk Couture silkscreen transfers to layer different patterns onto the duck, giving each section its own color, texture, and personality. I finished it off with the woodland leaves printed right onto the sweatshirt.

Camo + mallards + lots of pattern = a fall combination I’m completely in love with! 🍂🦆

There’s a reason I thrift. There’s a reason I collect. And there’s definitely a reason I chalk. 🤎🍂

I love creating a home that feels collected over time—not simply decorated. A thrifted treasure here, a favorite piece I’ve held onto for years there, and something handmade tucked in to make it uniquely mine.

For this little fall entryway, I mixed old finds, collected pieces, warm autumn textures and pumpkins with my own Chalk Couture creation. I especially love how the hot-air-balloon toile and little bird add that unexpected touch of whimsy among all those rich fall colors.

That’s the fun for me—taking things from different places and different seasons of life and bringing them together to tell one story.

Because a home filled with things you love will always be in style. 🤎

A $1 witch’s hat from Dollar General… but of course I couldn’t leave it that way! 🧙‍♀️✨

I gave this little bargain find an Odessa Rose makeover, adding silkscreen-printed patterns, paint, and metallic touches to transform it into something that coordinates perfectly with my Halloween kitchen island.

I love Halloween décor that feels a little more classic and collected—mixing old silver, copper, milk glass, black berries, pumpkins, and a few playful ghosts. Even my vintage silver coffee set joined the Halloween fun! 👻

It’s amazing what a little paint, pattern, and imagination can do to a $1 find. Now this witch’s hat looks right at home among all those pretty old treasures. 🖤🎃

🍂 Fall has found its way downstairs! 🍂

I’ve been decorating the little landing at the bottom of our steps, and this year it became the perfect spot to gather together so many things I love.

The star of the season might just be my fall tree, filled from top to bottom with pumpkins, gourds, berries, leaves and a woodland friend tucked among the branches. 🎃🍁

Surrounding it is my newest collection—vintage fall embroidered artwork that I’ve been gathering. I just love the texture, colors and sweet nostalgic scenes in these old pieces. I added in my pumpkin Longaberger baskets and other fall treasures I’ve collected throughout the years.

And anchoring the whole vignette is a piece of art all by itself—my custom Sticks sofa table. ❤️

I love decorating with things that have a little history and mixing old finds with pieces I’ve loved for years. Somehow, when they all come together, they tell a story—and this little vignette is definitely telling me fall is here! 🍂
