My Bonnie Girl Curating and creating vintage inspired goods The name, Urban and Upscale, goes way, way back. Its beginning hinges on a gal named Eileen. Eileen.

Born in Maine, Eileen moved to New York during the depression and grew up in the Bronx. Ever ahead of her time, Eileen was always, the one to lead the way in fashioning her home and her surroundings. Her style, her wit and her ability to make a home out of the most meager of surroundings was the envy of the neighbors. Eileen didn't just create a home, she created an urban nest for her brood. She is and will always be, Urban, Upscale and Fashion Forward.

We started the construction of our shop at America's Antique Mall Louisville back in January. It was on a whim when I sent the application in one morning and by the afternoon I had received confirmation that I was accepted and My Bonnie Girl vintage shop took off! It was whirlwind couple of weeks as Patrick and I began laying down the plans and painting the walls. He is the genius behind the artistic embellishments and is an award winning muralist, so I get free artwork on occasion. This is the evolution of our shop. Hope you all like it!

From a dining room to a much anticipated library. Paint, wallpaper and the great work of Walls Made New turned an ordinary humdrum seldom used room into a spot where grandbabies can sit at the window and watch the rain fall and read books and play.
