So many thanks to all the people who came by for the free music. It is essentially all gone. If anyone wants a bin of Federation piano solos and collections that's about all that is left.

Trumpet Music and Trombone Music is barely touched- and some brass ensembles - all of it is free! Call me at 502-345-5485, come by tomorrow between 11-3 (or maybe later).

Also lots of formerly Federation Piano solos and collections by the classical and well-known educational composers.

Christmas collections...off beat Piano Methods...piano duets and ensembles. All Free at Noteworthy 4012 Dupont Circle, Suite 111 (Under Highland Chamber Players awning).

We will continue on as bid provider for JCPS so not "out of business" but not going to stock or be a retail provider except on special orders.

So I am going to getting rid of most (almost all) of my music books and sheet music inventory in the next week or so. If you are a teacher or performer you are welcome to take what you want. Some piano methods will be available for sale at deep discounts (80% or more) except for a few early level books. Others will be FREE! Most of the rest of all kinds (String Orchestra, solo instrumental collections, POP books, classical music of all kinds, Vocal collections, educational piano and piano rep books) will be FREE.

What remains will likely go in the dumpster sooner rather than later.

I am going to continue providing music on bid to JCPS but will not have walk in retail hours.

Other changes in store – more on that soon.

I’d hate to have to toss so much good music, but I need to get it gone now.

So message, text, or call me at 502-345-5485 to make a time to come by and bring boxes if you have them. Please share this widely!

Dear customer/fellow musician,
The time has come to begin downsizing and phasing out some of the business of Noteworthy Sheet Music. I have just sold two of the three units of the store (112 and 113). I will be moving a limited amount of music into the third unit (111) where my desk and the instrument rentals currently are located. The business will become mainly geared towards string instrument rentals and servicing the bid for the JCPS music programs. I will likely continue to stock the major piano series and a certain amount of literature and supplementary books. I will continue to place special orders with some restrictions based on size and publisher.
The transition will take place over several months and at the moment there is no timeline. If you would like to increase your home music library or gather an overstock of materials for your students please feel free to come by and buy. I will be discounting significantly (anywhere from 20% to 100%) on most items other than staples of the piano methods that I will continue to stock.
If you have an interest in file cabinets, pianos, or other infrastructure I will be entertaining offers for those as well.
It has been a fun ride but I am ready for a less structured life.
I want to thank all my customers for their support and understanding over the years.

Hey friends, have you been interested in playing gypsy jazz, just never got around to it? Then come to the Gypsy Jam this Sunday at Tyler Park. Guitarist, Chris Fargen, is generously presenting a Gypsy Jazz Rhythm Workshop prior to the jam at 4:30 PM for those who want to more about the technique. Everyone welcome!
