This week’s finds include family game-night favorites like Candy Land, Scrabble Junior, and the Taco Bell Party Pack Card Game, plus a brand-new Master Lock magnetic key holder, a large wicker storage basket, and a beautiful framed Paul Detlefsen blacksmith scene. And that’s just a little of what’s waiting inside!

🕰️ THROWBACK THURSDAY at Take Me Home Thrift Shop! 🕰️

Today’s finds are bringing a little bit of everything from days gone by!

We’ve got a beautiful vintage wooden dough/bread bowl with tons of character, a delicate butterfly hat pin, and this absolutely fantastic boxed set of vintage frog character thimbles. 🐸 Seriously… where else are you going to find stuff like this all in one place?!

That’s one of my favorite things about thrift shopping — you never know what somebody’s attic, cabinet, or collection is going to send through our doors next. Some things are useful, some are collectible, and some are just too cool to leave behind.

📣 IMPORTANT SCHEDULE UPDATE FROM TAKE ME HOME THRIFT SHOP! 📣

Take Me Home Thrift Shop will be CLOSED Tuesday, August 18th AND Wednesday, August 19th.

Why? Because Stephanie is trading thrift-shop treasures for dorm-room boxes, moving carts, and a whole lot of Hokie spirit! 🧡🍂 She’ll be moving her daughter into Virginia Tech! 🎓🐾

We’ll be back Thursday, August 20th, ready to see all of our favorite thrifters and get back to finding you those one-of-a-kind bargains!
