I wanted to thank everyone for your patronage this summer. We are now closed until Fall to do some routine maintenance, take some vacation time, and to start planting pansies, kale and cabbage for Fall. We will be back open sometime around the middle to the end of September. Thanks again for trusting us with your planting needs. I wanted to remind everyone there are only 3 days left in our huge end of season sale. Every thing is on sale. Geraniums, perennials, shrubs, bedding plants, houseplants, herbs, vegetables, roses, all 25 to 60 percent off depending on varieties. So come see us before we shut down until Fall. After Saturday, we will close for some vacation time, and to start cutting everything back, and to start planting pansies, kale, and cabbage for the Fall season. We will reopen sometime toward the end of September for the Fall season. So if you are still needing a few replacement plants to replace those lost during these hot days, come see us and enjoy some great prices on some really nice homegrown plants. Our huge end of season sale is about to start for the public this coming saturday, july 18. However, i wanted to give all my facebook followers and their friends first shot at all the savings. So if you come see us this week before the sale starts for the public, you can get the sale prices now, but you have to let us know you saw this offer in facebook, or we will charge you the regular price. So come see us and take advantage of our sale prices this week before everything goes on sale to the public. Our bedding plants will be discounted 50 to 60 percent. Perennials, houseplants, geraniums and shrubs 25 to 30 percent. Pretty much everything will be discounted for these last few weeks of July, then we start cutting everything back to get ready for Fall. Once things are gone, thats it, so if you are still needing a few things to jazz up your pots or flower beds, come see us this week. Once it goes on sale to the public, things go fast. Just remember to tell us you saw this offer on facebook to get your discount this week. Otherwise, you will be charged full price. Come see us for some great prices and plants to end the season.

Wanted to let everyone know we will be open saturday, july 4th, but for shortened hours. We will close early at 3 pm. We will also be open Sunday, during regular hours. 2 to 5 30. Hope everyone has a safe and fun holiday weekend.

This plant is called "chocolate daisy", the yellow flowers smell like chocolate cocoa powder. It makes a perfect fathers day gift, for the dad who has everything. It is a perennial that loves the sunlight. So if you are still looking for that unique gift for that hard to please dad, come check out this plant. We are sure he will love it and want to show it off to his friends.
We also will be open for Fathers Day. So come check out the chocolate daisy, and as always, we will have free cold water to drink while you shop.

Wanted to let everyone know we got a shrub and perennial truck this week with lots of varieties we haven't been able to find in a while. Red hot pokers, hardy lantanas, to name a few. We also got lots of varieties of hollies in, some white rose of sharon, lots of colors of butterfly bushes, different sizes of texas sage, purple leaf lorepetulem, purple leaf hydrangea, and some really nice 15 gallon multi trunk red crepe myrtles, and vitex trees. I only have 5 each if the crepe myrtles and vitex, but I got a great price on them that I am passing on to our customers. Both are under 200 dollars each. The multi trunk crepe myrtles are almost 8 feet tall, very full, and the vitex are almost 6 feet tall and very full. They are on a first come basis, since I only have 5 of each. No holds. So come see us this weekend if you need some nice shrubs to go in your yard. I don't expect the crepe myrtles and vitex to last very long at the price they are at. We also have 4 varieties of honeysuckle rooted and ready for sale, as well as 4 varieties of hollyhocks rooted and ready for sale. We also got in a limited number of 1 gallon blueberry plants too. As always, we will have cold water to drink while you shop.

The 2026 Hub City Garden Tour is happening on Saturday, June 20, from 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. This self-guided tour features a beautiful collection of gardens across the Lubbock area, offering inspiration for gardeners of every skill, level and style.

Guests will have the opportunity to explore five unique residential gardens, ranging from newly created landscapes to well-established outdoor spaces. Each garden showcases creative planting ideas, landscape inspiration, and decorative touches that you can incorporate into your own home garden.
The tour also includes the continually growing LMGA Demonstration Garden, featuring the new greenhouse and Shade House, as well as the Jo Ann Reinhard Cermin Memorial Butterfly Garden. The Butterfly garden was introduced last year and has had a full year to mature and flourish with newly added perennials this year.

Also, back by popular demand, this year’s tour will feature one of the most popular gardens from the 2025 Garden Tour as a sixth residential stop — giving guests the chance to revisit a beloved garden or experience it for the first time.

Lots of new plants rooted and ready for sale, plus lots of new perennials too. So come see us to let us help you fill out those pots and flower beds. New colors of heat loving vinca. New colors of sun coleus as well. We have new colors of purslane, and we have strawberries ready too. All the awesome rain this week has made the ground ready to plant. As always, lots of free water to drink while you shop.
