One of the first things homeowners notice during a flooring project is a crack in the concrete slab.

The good news?

Most concrete cracks are completely normal.

Here in West Texas, almost every slab develops some cracking over time due to soil movement, settling, temperature changes, and the dry climate.

The important question isn’t:

❌ “Is there a crack?”

The important question is:

✅ “Has it been properly repaired before the new floor goes down?”

Before we install flooring, we inspect the slab, evaluate any cracks, and use the appropriate repair methods when needed. Ignoring slab issues can lead to problems later, but properly addressing them helps create a stable foundation for your new floor.

This full-home remodel features Fuzion SmartDrop Elite 9” in Cottonwood Cross installed throughout the entire home, creating a warm, cohesive look from room to room. The flooring pairs beautifully with the new custom shower featuring Florida Tile Indulge in Breccia Capraia, bringing a luxurious marble-inspired design to the space.

One of the biggest changes? We removed the old bathtub and transformed the area into a stunning walk-in shower that feels larger, brighter, and much more functional for everyday use.
