We offer hundreds of gently used books—just $5 each—spanning every genre from mystery and romance to history, faith, business, self help and fantasy. Kids will love our cheerful children’s room, where every book is just $3 and a wooden train set invites them to play while you browse. Settle into a comfy chair, discover a new favorite author, and pick up a cute bookmark, pen, or tote bag to make your visit complete. Open Monday through Saturday, we’re your local spot to relax, read, and reconnect with the joy of real books.

🚨THIS WEEK ONLY🚨 (9/7-9/12) if you donate 10 novels (fiction books), you get to pick TWO FREE BOOKS from any of our shelves!!! The turnout from our book crawl was better than we could have ever imagined! Buttttt that means our novel shelves are looking a little bare 😬. So bring your gently used novels to The Nook, and you’ll get to pick 2 books for free! We are open Monday-Wednesday 11-7 and Friday-Saturday 11-7! Closed Thursdays and Sundays. You have two days to buy a book from each of our bookshops, get a punch on your card, and turn it when you visit all 3 bookshops! We will then announce 📢 ✨3 giveaway winners✨📢! The Nook’s hours are changing! Instead of being open from 10-5, we will now be opening a little later at 11, but that means we get to be open later in the afternoons, till 7! We will still be closed on Thursday and Sunday. We are very excited for the change and we hope the new hours will give more people the ability to come shop for their next read! These changes only reflect the Nook in Lubbock, not in Artesia! 📖✨
