Here I am with Noah Teal’s Blues Express band at the famous Grant’s Lounge in Macon, GA. playing the bass solo to “Champagne Jam” by the Atlanta Rhythm Section. I think this was on June 11, 2022.

For guitar or bass: You can easily Supercharge your minor scale solos by shifting just 2 notes. I use the A minor scale in 3 different octaves to demonstrate the “sound” of the new scale. Stay tuned in for a future video where I will play a “shred-y” solo with this new scale: A B C D # E F G # A. Think of this as A minor with D # instead of D and G # instead of G🎸
