A ban on smokable h**p in Texas went into effect Tuesday, and Lufkin businesses saw immediate effects overnight. Shop owners saw sharp drops in revenue and uncertainty about compliance with the new regulations. Edibles and h**p-derived beverages remain legal, but flower and pre-roll products are not, thereby removing a major inventory piece for local retailers.
