Happy sweet 75th birthday mom, Odessa Evans McMillan.

From Sweet Candy Cafe to Lavish Lux Hair Salon, you have always had my back-- you gave me a hard time [it made me a better person] but I could always count on you for whatever we needed as a small business, smiling softly.

From growing up in Parkview Terrace Apartments to our wedding day on November 2, 2024, I'm so thankful for all the fun times we've shared.

Today, I tried not to weep but was unsuccessful. Mom, I miss you tremendously, you were truly the mother of Sweet Candy Cafe and done a fantastic job with me and my brother. Today has been extremely tough, you continue to live on through me.
