❤ SAVE SPRINGFIELD ELEMENTARY ❤
As a small business owner, a parent, and a member of this community, I want to take a moment to share something that is incredibly important to me.
Springfield Elementary has served generations of children and families in Page County, and right now, its future is uncertain.
This one is personal for me. My daughter attends Springfield, and I actually filled out an attendance waiver specifically so she could go there. I drive her to and from school every day because I believe that strongly in what Springfield provides.
The staff is wonderful. The smaller class sizes mean our children aren’t simply another name on a roster. They are known. They are supported. They are loved.
And closing Springfield would not affect only the families whose children attend there today.
Those students have to go somewhere. Closing a school means redistributing children to other elementary schools, increasing enrollment and potentially class sizes, while putting additional strain on teachers, staff, resources, and facilities. This is something that can affect families throughout Page County.
Once a community school is gone, getting it back isn’t easy. Springfield has been part of this community for decades, and I believe it is worth fighting for.

You don’t have to have a child at Springfield for this to matter. Maybe you attended Springfield. Maybe your children or grandchildren did. Maybe you know one of the incredible teachers or staff members who has poured their heart into this school. Or maybe you simply believe that small community schools and reasonable class sizes are worth protecting.
