A couple months ago, I learned that Calvert County currently doesn’t have a local Imagination Library program, so I started looking into what it would take to change that.
I’ve connected with the regional director, learned a whole lot more about what it takes to get one started, and now I’m looking for the people who could help make it happen locally. 👀
If you work with or know a local nonprofit or school district that may be interested in partnering, know a local business or organization that may be interested in helping fund the program, have experience with the Imagination Library, or simply know someone I should be talking to... send me a message!
Nothing is official yet. There’s funding to figure out, partnerships to build, and plenty of work ahead, but I’d really love to see Calvert County’s littlest readers receive a free book in the mail every month. 🤎📚
