Glory Road Gardens is a farm that produces beautiful edible microgreens with love. Microgreens are the small edible sprouts mainly grown from the seeds of vegetables and herbs such as pea greens, buckwheat, radish, sunflower, lettuce, and so on. Literally the first sprouts from the seed, microgreens are no older than two weeks when picked and can often be purchased live. The greens tend to have a higher nutritional value than more mature plants. This concentration is evident in their strong, often spicy flavor and intense deep green and purple colors. WOOOWEEEE!!! MY FINGERS ARE ON FIRE!

I’ve been doing a whole lot of harvesting, gathering, climbing around in the woods, and digging through the gardens here on Glory Road lately, gathering plants and herbs for my small-batch elderberry syrup.

But TODAY… I decided it was time to start a batch of my Glory Road Fire Cider!

And let me tell you… every tiny little scratch on my hands from working outside has officially made itself known!

This batch is packed with:

• Jalapeños
• Cayenne peppers
• Fresh horseradish
• Ginger
• Lemons
• Oranges
• Onions
• Turmeric
• Black pepper
• apple cider vinegar
• Rosemary
• Thyme
• Clove
• Anise
• Bayleaf

My hands are burning, my kitchen smells AMAZING, and this beautiful concoction is officially tucked away to steep.

It’s a labor of love, people!

This batch will be ready in about six weeks, just in time for cold and sniffle season.

If you’d like a bottle from this batch, message me and let me know! I’ll be making a limited amount.

Well… we’re back! 🌿

Things have changed a bit here at Glory Road Gardens since our days as a full-scale microgreens farm, and if we’re being truthful, it’s a little bittersweet.

On one hand, we don’t miss the incredibly demanding workload that came with growing on such a large scale. On the other, we absolutely miss the farm, the growing, and the connection with all of you who supported us along the way.

But the truth is… we never really stopped.

We never stopped growing. We never stopped learning. And we certainly never stopped believing in nourishing our bodies, living closer to the earth, and sharing the traditional foods, herbs, and preparations that have been part of natural wellness for generations.

And now, Glory Road Gardens is growing into something new. 🌱

We’re currently brewing and preparing some of our favorite small-batch creations:

🌿 Fresh Elderberry Syrup
🌿 Our amazing homemade Fire Cider
🌿 Sweet Gum Tincture
🌿 Broadleaf Plantain Tincture

And coming soon, we’re working on expanding our offerings to include colloidal silver, a parasite cleanse, and a heavy metal detox.

And, of course, we could never completely give up our microgreens!

Our beautiful sunflower shoots are still available, grown fresh to order. If you’d like some, just give us about two weeks’ notice and we’ll grow a special flat just for you. 🌻

Glory Road Gardens may look a little different these days, but the heart behind it hasn’t changed.
