Missing Person

LYNCHBURG, Va. – At approximately 4:30 p.m. on September 21, 2026, the Lynchburg Police Department received a report of a missing person.

Sebastian L. Peterson, 48, was last seen around 1:00 p.m. on September 18, 2026, in the 200 block of Mill Ridge Drive.

Peterson is described as 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing approximately 210 pounds. He was last seen wearing a brown jumpsuit and carrying a reflective backpack.

Lynchburg Police officers are actively searching for Peterson at this time. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or contact the Lynchburg Police Department non-emergency number at (434) 847-1602. Tips may also be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers at (888) 798-5900, online at http://p3tips.com, or by using the P3 Tips mobile app.
