This is a special post. The link below shares more of the story of my close friend and business partner, Bill Boring of W.R. Boring Piano Company, and how The Piano Guyz came to be when we took over the business nearly two years ago.

Bill fought cancer for almost two years. I learned so much from him, and today we carry on the 40-year legacy he built under the new name, The Piano Guyz.

Donald Toms, thank you for your support, your friendship, and for believing in my vision after we lost our close friend. This November, we’re excited to celebrate our second anniversary as The Piano Guyz.

Please take a moment to learn more about Bill and the legacy we continue to grow as we serve our community.

Jeremiah Guelzo
Owner, The Piano Guyz

Bill Boring ran W.R. Boring Piano Service in Lynchburg VA from 1984 until his passing in 2024. The Piano Guyz remembers the man who built the business.

Moved a beautiful Boston piano by steinway from a really cool studio setting into a beautiful new home up in Charlottesville. We then navigated these tricky steps for a Sohmer & Company Studio piano safe and sound into the home owners basement. I can tell you one thing Home builders do not think about whether a piano will fit down a set of steps when they design a home, but we work out every detail before we even make a move to ensure safety and delivery of your piano 🙂 Jonah Guelzo The Piano Guyz
