Pops and I cruised down to today to stock up on grains, about 450 lbs worth. Stoked that they still had some Pilot Pils for me to scoop up along with the standard 2 Row Pale.

Collab brew day!!!

Keep Ya Hops Up, an American West Coast Pale Ale. The grist was fairly simple: 2 row pale, lightly roasted Skagit C-30, and some oats to help smooth out the mouth feel. Centennial, galaxy, and el dorado hops should lend a restrained bitterness with loads of tropical citrus aromas. The perfect b**r for poolside chillin, or a late summer BBQ.

OG: 1.057, FG: TBD

A month ago I was fermenting b**r in 6 gallon glass and plastic fermenters (at whatever temperature my basement happened to be). Now I'm fully utilizing these 1 bbl Unitanks with FTsS temp control and a BIG OLE glycol unit.

On the left is a batch of Tumbling Boulder chugging away at 57 degrees while the crowd favorite Citra Single Hop IPA on the right sits at 67 degrees.

🔊🔊🔊 BIG B**r Alert 🔊🔊🔊

Gnarly Barley is the biggest b**r I've brewed in a hot minute. 9.5% ABV, dark as night, and a real smack in the mouth. Conditioned on wh***ey soaked oak spirals and cinnamon sticks. A real oil stain on your garage floor. Looks Valvoline 20W50, tastes like roasty toasty dark malt goodness.

Happy International Women's Day everyone!!! I wanted to post this for many reasons, but the main one being that this woman right here is such a MASSIVE driving force for this dream/goal/project. takes care of so many things for this "business" so that all I have to do is brew the b**r. Newsletters, social media posting, general word of mouth promotion, coordinating our pop up events (shhhh 😉), and pushing me to do brewery stuff even when I "don't feel like it." Here's to the future, boo, thank you so much for all that you do. And thank you to the countless other women in my life, you all make me who I am. **r
