You don’t need all the answers. 💙

Sometimes, your child just needs you to listen, stay present, and remind them: “You’re not alone.”

You don’t have to be a perfect parent.

Just be present.

Mental Health Check-In 💙

Sometimes we check on everyone else before checking in with ourselves.

Today, give yourself a moment to pause and ask, “How am I really doing?”

Your feelings deserve attention, your body deserves care, and it’s okay to need rest or support.

You matter, too. 💙

Sunday Reminder: You don’t have to have everything figured out today.

It’s okay to slow down, take a breath, and give yourself permission to simply be.

You can take things one step at a time. 🤍

Rest is part of the journey, too.

Sometimes, what looks like “bad behavior” may actually be a sign that your child is overwhelmed. 🤍

Pay attention to changes in their emotions, reactions, behavior, focus, and daily routines.

Your child may not always have the words to say, “I’m overwhelmed.” Sometimes, their behavior is how they communicate that they need support.

Pause. Connect. Listen. Support.

Hello, October! 💙

A new month is here, bringing new opportunities to slow down, check in with yourself, and care for your mental health.

Give yourself permission to rest.
Give yourself space to heal.
Give yourself grace for where you are in the journey.

This month, remember: your mental health matters, and you don’t have to navigate it alone. 💙

Here’s to a month of healing, growth, and intentional care.

September may be ending, but su***de prevention shouldn’t.

Just because Su***de Prevention Month is over doesn’t mean we stop checking in, listening, and having the conversation.

Keep asking. Keep listening. Keep showing up.

A simple “How are you really doing?” can mean more than we realize.

Let’s make su***de prevention an everyday conversation, not just a September reminder. 🤍

What if your child isn’t giving you a hard time… but they’re having a hard time? 💙

Before asking, “Why won’t my child listen?” try asking:

“What’s getting in the way?”
“What does my child need to be successful?”

Understanding challenging behavior doesn’t mean ignoring boundaries. It means looking beyond the behavior and responding to what your child may be struggling with.

Sometimes, changing the question can change the way we respond.

Big meltdowns need calm, not more chaos.

When your child is overwhelmed, regulate first, connect before correcting, and set boundaries when calm.

Your response can either escalate the moment or help your child feel safe enough to regulate.

Connection before correction. Always. 💙
