The observation hive hit max capacity this week so we opened it up to add another 8 frames. I snapped a photo when the hive was open. They were bearding outside their entrance so hard for two nights before they themselves removed the metal pipe and a piece of wood that was reducing the entrance here. Upon seeing them piled up so much, we had planned to remove it for them the next day, but they beat us to it! They literally used their bee power to pull them out of the entrance by themselves! These creatures never cease to amaze me! 🐝😍
