Yes, we have rope halters! Choose from a classic 2-knot, a 4-knot, or our customer favorite, the sliding ring — each available with or without a matching lead.
Our rope is sustainable yacht braid — the same construction you'd expect from premium halter rope — but made from 100% recycled plastic. The halter rope is 6mm (compared to the standard 1/4"), and the lead is 12mm (compared to the standard 9/16"). Slightly slimmer, but you still get that same soft, supple feel — while keeping material out
of landfills instead of adding to them. As far as we know, we're currently the only ones carrying it — though we'd love to see others follow our lead. Available in four colors, and always recognizable by the signature blue fleck woven through every foot.

I am not sure if everyone is aware, but there is a huge fire on the Warm Springs Reservation. Homes have been lost, and families displaced. Some of the families who manage horses are planning some online sales, i will post those when they are available. Shakespeare had surgery yesterday. The vet removed debris from his jaw, though a bone chip still remains, and there's a possible loose tooth that may need to come out. Right now it's wait-and-see — whether the infection in his jaw resolves on its own, or whether he'll need further treatment at OSU. We'll keep you posted as we know more.
