We wanted to give y’all a little update from Watts Creek Farms & Mercantile.

Things have been super busy on the farm, and we have a lot going on right now. We’re working 16-hour days, and unfortunately, that doesn’t leave enough time to keep the Mercantile farm stand stocked.

We’ve made the difficult decision to temporarily close the farm stand at Salon on Broad until we can get everything back in order.

Thank y’all for all the love and support you’ve shown us. We truly appreciate every purchase, order, share, and kind word.

Please keep checking back with us for updates—we hope to be back before too long!

It’s been a busy week for us here on the farm, but we couldn’t let today go by without pausing to remember September 11, 2001.

Today, we honor the lives that were lost, the heroes who ran toward danger, the families whose lives were forever changed, and the brave men and women who have served our country since that day.

Twenty-five years later, we still remember the courage, the sacrifice, and the way our nation came together as one. May we never forget, and may we continue to pray for our country, our first responders, our military, and every family affected by that tragic day.

🇺🇸 We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

🇺🇸 Happy Friday, y’all! The long Labor Day weekend is here, and we hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable weekend. If you have Monday off, we hope you enjoy the well-earned break!

Did you know? Labor Day emerged during the late 19th century as the Industrial Revolution transformed America. Many workers faced harsh conditions, long hours, and low pay. The first Labor Day parade was held in New York City on September 5, 1882, and Congress officially made Labor Day a federal holiday on June 28, 1894.

This weekend, we recognize the hardworking men and women—past and present—who helped build and strengthen our country. Around here, we know a thing or two about hard work, and we’re thankful for everyone who gets up each day and gets the job done!

September is here, and fall is just around the corner—at least on the calendar! The temperatures may not feel like fall yet, but we’re already thinking about all those delicious fall flavors.

We want to hear from y’all! What would you like to see added to the farm stand and our fall menu? Pumpkin, apple, pecan, maple—or something completely different? Drop your ideas in the comments!

The farm stand at Salon on Broad is open and stocked with your favorite homemade goodies. Stop by and grab something before it’s gone! If you don’t see what you’re looking for, just let us know—we gladly take orders.

Thank you for supporting our farm, our mercantile, and our small business!
