One of the best parts about being a former teacher is seeing former students live out their dreams. For the past couple of years, I’ve become a huge fan of one of my former students as his music career has taken off.

started taking off on TikTok a few years ago with his hit “What You Got” and just a week ago released the Macclenny EP.

Some of my favorites of his include Suffocating Slowly (which you hear here), Vacation Love, What You Got, Make My Move and I’m Good.

The best part of watching him succeed is watching him show that it doesn’t matter if you’re from Macclenny or where you grew up. If you’ve got drive, believe in yourself and push, there’s a world out there in which you can succeed.

Please give this man a follow and support him as his career continues to take off. He’s almost to a million monthly listeners on Spotify. Make sure if you’re from his hometown, you’re one of those listeners.

I’m very proud of you and hope your dream continues to grow.

We are off the see the RSD Black Friday 2026 list!

Bearded Vinyl is proud to present another Record Store Day. As always, we will need you to read this whole post and help us so that we order adequately.

Things of note:

1. We order based off of this post and if you don’t respond, we may not order what you want. If you plan on attending, make sure you list what you’re looking for here.

2. If you don’t plan on coming, please don’t request records. We don’t want to order things that our customers would not be interested in, so please make sure you plan on attending the event.

3. These will always adhere to RSD rules on a first come, first serve basis. Plan on lining up early as these titles are always EXTREMELY LIMITED.

4. We will have a LOT of other special things happening on this day, so make sure to mark November 27th on your calendar.

5. This is our biggest shopping day of the year and has so many new releases. Make sure you’re ready to have fun and don’t forget to respond to this post of you’re coming.

6. Thanks to our good friend for his always awesome custom work on our RSD design.

Big News at Bearded!

We are opening Sundays starting this Sunday all the way to the end of the year. That’s right, meet Addison, our new store clerk here for you each Sunday from 1-6 starting this weekend.

Addison is working on her esthetician degree and has been collecting records for 10 years. Some of her favorites include Florence + the Machine, Wet Leg, Mitski, and Slayyyter.

“Music helps my mind and it keeps me grounded,” Addison said. “I still remember getting my first records which were the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack and the Beatles’ Abbey Road.”

Addison’s favorite section is the soundtrack section.

“It combines two of my favorite things to be honest, movies and vinyl,” she said. “For instance, I bought the original Popeye soundtrack with the premiere tickets from the Chinese Theater.”

Come see her starting this Sunday from 1-6.

Things have been a little crazy around the store this morning. More than 2000 records walked out the door.

Not bad for the first weekend of college football. Stop by on your way to the game or before your party for the perfect tunes.
