✨ A mystical Mackinac legend lives on in this limited edition scent! 🧚🏻

Have you ever heard the story of Fairy Arch?? 📖 This small arch was hidden in the woods about a quarter mile down the road from the more-famous Arch Rock. It was popular among visitors until the 1940s, when the State needed to control erosion to complete the M-185 highway, and Fairy Arch was destroyed. Today, it’s another piece of legendary Mackinac history - there are a handful of photographs and illustrations memorializing Fairy Arch.

MICC loves Mackinac history + legends + fairies + the woods, so we decided to go with a mystical, ethereal forest vibe for this limited edition scent! 🕯️ A velvety base of lavender blends with vibrant, citrusy bergamot and notes of sage, topped with palo santo and hints of forest moss and ferns. 🌱

🌲 Step into a peaceful cedar haven, where a gentle stream flows through banks of lush Mackinac moss 🪵

This scent is named after Croghan Water Trail, one of the most magical trails on Mackinac Island. A short trek through cedar boughs leads to the mouth of a bubbling natural spring, feeding a mossy and verdant creekbed. The bright cedarwood base of this candle opens up to fresh notes of lily of the valley, rose, woody santal, and the scent of forest floor after the rain. Finished with earthy lush oakmoss, Croghan Water lives up to its peaceful forest namesake. 🌲

🌊 Like Mackinac Island, there’s so much more to this new scent than just fudge! 🍫

This candle is inspired by all the adventures had on our famous Main Street and Michigan’s only carless highway, M-185. A rich chocolatey base with hints of vanilla blends perfectly with tonka bean and our warm cinnamon whiskey scent, reminiscent of Fireball (a Porter Jam favorite 😜), topped with woody, luxurious notes of oud for a sweet, spicy and sophisticated experience.
