Help Wanted: Professional Fun Facilitator
(a.k.a. Toy Store Superstar)

About the Role
Do you believe that dinosaurs and princesses can peacefully share the same playroom? Can you have heartfelt conversations about the emotional journeys of stuffed animals? Are you fueled by joy, curiosity, and perhaps a little ice cream? If so, our lively and bustling toy store on Mackinac Island is searching for someone like you to join our adventure-packed team.
What You’ll Be Doing (Besides Being Awesome)
• Helping both children and adults find that one perfect toy that becomes their absolute favorite.
• Operating the register like a calm wizard during high-energy rushes
• Unboxing new toys without immediately adopting all of them
• Keeping store shelves bright, well-organized, and irresistibly touchable.
• Creating engaging displays that make even adults say, “Wait, I need this and I’m 37.”
• Answering important questions like: “Which slime is the slimiest?” “Can this rocket reach space?” and “Do you sell dragons?”

What Makes You a Perfect Fit
• You have a friendly, upbeat personality and communicate easily with both kids and adults.
• You stay cheerful during busy, noisy moments—even when glitter is involved.
• You are responsible, reliable, and always show up when scheduled.
• You don’t mind being on your feet and active throughout your shift.
• You thrive as part of a team and are always willing to pitch in wherever needed.
• You secretly (or not so secretly) love toys, games, kites, or creative play.

Bonus Points If You...
• Have experience in retail or customer service.
• Love flying kites.
• Can distinguish between 47 nearly identical plush animals.
