Doc's House of Magic Truly a one of a kind store on Mackinac Island. Magic tricks for all ages and levels, as well as pranks, gags and novelties from past and present.

Doc's House of Magic is a highly interactive store with lots of energy and lots of smiles. It is our goal that everyone that enters our doors leaves with at least a smile. We offer an extensive variety of magic tricks for all ages and levels; from entry level, beginner tricks to advanced stage magic. We have a team of staff fully equipped to demonstrate and teach any and all magic tricks, once pur

chased, before you leave. We believe in the power of a good laugh. On top of the variety of magic tricks we offer, we also have a vast selection of pranks and gags. Everything from fake poops, fake lottery tickets, hand buzzers, whoopee cushions ranging in size from 4 inches to 17 inches in diameter, bill snatchers, fake sq**rt bottles of ketchup and mustard and much more. There is nothing quite like a good prank to make anyone and everyone laugh. It was Doc's mission when he started the magic shop in 2000, that a child would be able to come to Mackinac Island with $10, visit our store and on top of leaving with many smiles and memories, they would leave with 3-4 items that would bring them joy for many days, weeks and even years to come. That mission is still true today, as we strive to keep our prices some of the lowest on the island. We look forward to meeting you and making Doc’s House of Magic a highlight in your memories of your trip to beautiful, Mackinac Island.

One year ago today, in the Crossroads Mall downstate in Kalamazoo!

Doc, being the goof ball that he is, has called me his head elf and gladly referred to himself as Santa since this day.

The moment he laid eyes on the mall Santa his eyes lit up like the little kid he is inside. But they also lit up with a little envy. He's told me once, he's told me literally a hundred and fifty times, "One day I wanna be Santa and all the little kids can come tell me what they want fro Christmas and I'll show them REAL magic and sq**rt the naughty kids with free mustard."

This year for Christmas, I want to give Doc the gift of feeling like Santa.

I am asking kids from age 3-93 to write Doc Santa letters. Maybe letters of things they want and love from the store. Or fun memories at the store. Draw or color pictures. Just anything festive and Santa like. As I said, there is no age restrictions. I love reading things that kids send us at the store and I know there is no greater joy for him than to hear from his biggest fans and fan club!

I apologize this is short notice, being Christmas is only 11 days away 😯

But if you and any kids in your life have time I'd love the help.

This video captures a tiny glimpse in a day at Doc's House of Magic. We love three things, smiles, laughs and magic. From the time we open, until the time we close we have staff trained and ready to demo and teach magic tricks to all sutible ages. If magic doesn't put a smile on your face, we have tons of pranks and gags sure to make you laugh. Please, before you leave the store inquire about our FREE Ketchup and Mustard!

If you're on the island or in the St. Ignace area, come on over to Pink Pony on the island for a Trivia night dedicated to Doc! The benefit is to begin at 8pm! Food, raffle, prizes and of course Doc, will all be apart of this special event.
It will be a great time!

Star Line Mackinac Island Ferry will be running special boats for the event, including a late boat leaving the island for those who wish to return to St. Ignace for the night after trivia.

A huge thank you to everyone making tonight possible! The love and support is truly overwhelming for Doc and his wife Melissa.

We're looking forward to an incredibly blessed night.
