Hi, everyone!! We hope you are enjoying the beautiful Indian Summer that Northern Michigan is experiencing.
We have some pretty big news for you all! This will be our last season with our Monadnock Gift Shop location. On behalf of the Heilman family, I want to personally thank you all for visiting us year after year- even if just to stop in and say "Hello"! We have owned Monadnock since 2001 and it has been our pleasure to offer you high-quality gifts, jewelry, and even some retail.
With that being said, our year-round location will continue to serve you! Heilman's Fort Fudge Shop has been in our family since the 1960's. We are known for our salt water taffy, brittles, fudge, and SO much more- all of which is made IN HOUSE. Many of you remember my father, Charlie, from Monadnock. He and my brother, along with our "chocolatier" Linda (and others, of course!!) work extremely hard to produce only the finest of candies made from scratch. We recently purchased a chocolate machine... so when I say made in-house, I mean LITERALLY, all of it is made right inside our building!!! Along with candy, we will offer a lot of what Monadnock did. We still carry Minnetonka, jewelry, along with tshirts, sweatshirts, unique "Up North" gifts for newly-weds or anniversary celebrations and birthdays, and so much more.
Please stop in to visit us and try a free sample of our fudge and say hello... we are open 12 months a year! If you aren't able to make it to Mackinaw City, visit our webpage, where you can order candies online to be sent anywhere you please!!
