For generations, Native families have marked life's biggest moments with the star quilt: births, graduations, ceremonies and goodbyes. It's a gift of honor, and one of the most meaningful traditions in all of quilting.

Today we're celebrating the Native artists, makers and storytellers whose traditions continue to inspire us. Happy Indigenous Peoples' Day.

Got to see her quilts up close and personal at the Museum in Paducah. Then ran into her shopping at Hancock’s of Paducah 😊. What a wonderful week of awesome quilts and a little shopping 🤣 especially with a couple of great gals to hang out with! Loved the freedom to get to go and even ran into some ladies who remember me from my shop.

Oh my goodness! It’s Friday the 13 ! What happened 22 years ago on February, Friday the 13 on the North side of the Macomb square? Do you remember the shop when it was on the square? Still amazed at how we survived 20 years…thank you to all our patrons!
