💧 WATER SYSTEM NOTICE 💧
Central Plains Water District has notified the City that renovations to the Maddock Water Treatment Facility are nearly complete, and treatment of the City’s water will soon transition to the new facility.
During the final phases of the project, it will be necessary to change the direction of water flow through some lines. Residents may notice temporary discoloration or a change in the taste of their water as sediment in the pipes is stirred up.
These effects are temporary and are expected to clear up within a couple of weeks. CPWD has advised that the water is still safe to use during this period.
We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding during this transition.
