Hello everyone, Angelo here!

As you all know, IsshoCon started as a small one day event that was put on in a middle school gym. Our small business Otaku Detroit has always been the heart behind IsshoCon and our mission to continue to provide a safe space to our diverse community.

As of this month, we would have been open for almost 7 years! The support you all have shown us over the years has made our hearts full more than we can even explain. Seeing your smiling faces walking in and constantly showing up for us, especially when we needed it most, are memories we will never forget. Sadly, we had to close our doors due to financial burden and IsshoCon's soaring demands. While it is sad, we believe that our main focus was IsshoCon for the foreseeable future to make sure we can be another staple Michigan anime convention you all value attending.

We wanted to make sure we funnel all the love you have showed us into IsshoCon to continue to provide you all with an exciting and safe space to be yourselves and showcase your talent. Being a black and q***r owned business is not easy, but the love that we consistently receive is what continues us to push forward and be a light to you all.

We are excited to announce that the IsshoCon 2027 Vendor Hall applications are now live! Applications will be open from July 27th at noon EST until August 10th at 11:59 pm EST.

Applications may close early if we receive an overwhelming amount of responses, so be sure to apply ASAP!

Hello everyone!

We are excited to announce that IsshoCon 2027: The Circus Spectacular is in full swing!

Taking place January 29th - 31st, 2027 at the Marriott Ann Arbor Ypsilanti. We have made several updates to our con structure and have been in the works in making sure we have an ample solution to our parking situation that has been a struggle that last few years. The includes access to additional parking lot and access to a shuttle to bring attendees back and forth. (More info on that soon~!)

Registration is officially live! We will be offering 3-Day badges for just $45 this week in celebration of the con officially taking off! We sincerely appreciate your patience as we got matters settled for this year's con!

Hey everyone ,

Panel applications are now live for MCE and will close June 12th. Please keep in mind that due to the size of this convention there is a very limited amount of spaces. Some panels or events will also be moved to one of the venues smaller auxiliary areas depending on panel details. The selection of these panels and events will be based on their relevance to the overall tone of a 18+ convention.

We are very excited to see some great events again like last year. We also have some announcements coming soon about a few of our main events so stay tuned.

Happy Memorial Day everyone,

Tickets for 2026 MCE are now live! I will be posting a direct link to the website, and will soon have an update on the website for VIP details, and when VIP tickets will close.

This year the VIP tickets will include:
- VIP badges (like last year normal tickets will not have badges)
- MCE T-Shirt ( Emails will be sent to VIPs for shirt sizes)
- MCE Mascot poster
- MCE NSFW sticker.

VIP items will be sold at the convention but will be very limited.
