New versions of the garden wagon design. My process:
I start with trying to perfect my drawing - right proportions, space to the name date height weight time of the baby on a background that isn’t too dark. And then I try out some very basic pallet paintings - just basic blocks of paintings to see which I like best. And then I give it practice on a hand-drawn inked design. I only use professional grade paper, paint and ink so these will last without fading.

While I think babies need bold primary colors in their lives I am trying some softer pallets as well - sage greens, dusty pinks, aged gray, cream, peach, lavender on this version.

I would love for a little girl named Lilly or Poppy to have this. Now why girls not called tulip or foxglove? Or tomato! It is a flower after all…
