In my shop yesterday was Chris Villand (aka:Kase), with one of his custom guitar bodies. I believe he built 4 of these. Chris usually does custom furniture available on his woodworking page. My job will be to take it to the finish line. I’ll need to route the neck pocket, pickup pockets, and drill for bridge, tail, and controls. I’ll also choose a neck from my inventory. Then clear coat, buff, and polish. Pictured is the body I’m finishing, and another he did some green tinting on.

Jerry Fink was in the shop today w his Stingray 5 active bass.
The output jack was intermittent which would drive any player nuts.
Jerry was really on top of the situation knowing a special jack is needed for an active system. He not only had the part, he had a schematic of the updated wiring for the replacement jack. I wired it up while he waited so he left w a repaired bass.

Ethan Schluter in the shop a couple days ago for a neck upgrade on his Squire. Check him and PTO out whenever you get a chance.

Last week Jef Hinds and Ethan Schluter had guitars in the shop. Setups and general cleanup were in order.

In the shop was Don Schmitz for a setup and adjustments on his Tele, and Ray Hubbard came by and bought a 5 string bass I recently refinished.

Got a visit from Paul Schluter today. He has an awesome playing Tom Anderson that needed a pickup upgrade from a P90 to a TA humbucker. Also rewired a s/p switch to a coil tap for him. Did the work while he waited so had a great conversation as well.

In the shop this week, a 3 some of nice guitars.
Todd from the Foo Foo Dolls has his PRS bass in for adjustments.
Tammy from Midnight Angel brought her Ovation acoustic for a complete setup
Mark from 2AM Band has his Wolfgang style in for restringing and custom wiring.

In my shop today is Twila Bergeron, music educator, folk artist and activist. She brought her 2 acoustics for setups. I worked on the first one when she stopped by Tuesday. Forgot to take pics of her beautiful mahogany Martin. On the pictured guitar, I Polished the frets, oiled the fingerboard, adjusted the neck and put on new strings.

Busy last couple of days in my shop.
TJ Albright and Bob Cubby Meredith brought guitars in for string changes and setups. Thx guys, always fun to visit w you and get your axes playing right.

In the shop today is Ben Jeager, music teacher at Memorial HS, and guitarist for Sunspot. The electric is his guitar, the acoustic is the last guitar from the HS that I’ve been refurbishing.
