Ulla Eyewear's Pet of the Week!

Meet Sammy, a 10-year-old female cat who was found in Stoughton and brought to Dane County Humane Society in mid-July. Sammy is very friendly and loves receiving attention, especially chin and head scratches! She leans in for pets and purrs with happiness. This beautiful senior has not shown interest in treats. Sammy is looking for a new home to explore with plenty of sunny spots to enjoy and a family who will spoil her with lots of attention and love. Since Sammy has been with DCHS for a bit, she’s a member of their Lonely Hearts Club. Right now through August 16, adoption fees for ALL Lonely Hearts Club animals have been waived. Our Pet of the Week is gonna make you wanna fall in love!

If toys are involved, Juno is ready to join the fun! This sweet Shepherd mix came to Dane County Humane Society as a stray in mid-July and is ready to find her new home. Once she gets to know you, Juno is a loving girl who enjoys attention, loves going for walks, and is always happy to play with her favorite toys. She can be a little nervous when meeting new people, so she'll do best with someone who can help her keep building her confidence. Juno also needs a home without small kids and will need slow introductions to any canine roommates. Juno is currently staying in a foster home, so if you'd like to meet her, please contact DCHS's Adoption Center to set up a meet and greet!
