Just when you think you’ve seen every type of comic collection! I bought a collection and the guys main four runs were: Green Lantern, Usagi Yojimbo, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Groo The Wanderer 🤔

Most collections I buy have some kind of theme or taste that ties everything together, but this one was a bit different 😅

Honestly, this is one of my favorite parts of buying collections, you never know what someone is going to be into!

What’s everyone thinking about LANTERNS so far?? 👀💚

We’re three episodes in now so are you loving it? Hating it? Somewhere in the middle?

Figured it was a good excuse to pull out my 1st appearance Hal and 1st John Stewart!

I know some people have issues with Episode 3, no spoilers, so that made me want to pull out my Green Lantern #87. You can see John’s experience as a black man was an essential part of how Denny O’Neil and Neal Adams introduced him from his very first appearance in 1971. Always go back to the source and it is all here in his first appearance.

And also you can see him and Hal’s tension right here in this issue too after the Guardians tell Hal he has to train him.

So three episodes in what’s your verdict on LANTERNS??

Comic books as investments: good or bad idea? Comment below! 🗣️👇

I just picked up a new CGC 9.8 for my daughter’s investment box: Secret Wars 8! I’m 15-20 years she’ll get a his box and sell them or do what she wants with them :) a small way to put away for her over the years as she grows up.

But I wanna hear from you! Is comic books as investments a good idea? Would you be better off putting your investment money into the stock market or gold & silver?

Time to live out my nerd fantasy and charge up my GREEN LANTERN POWER BATTERY!! 💚💚💚

I’ve wanted a Green Lantern Power Battery for years and thanks to Sig’s Treasure Chest I finally got one! Thank you Sigs! 🙏

This thing is a 1:1 scale replica prop with some real weight to it. And when you put the ring up to the power battery it lights up! You know I couldn’t resist saying the oath!! 💚💚💚

And now I’ll be drooling over my power battery knowing I’ve fulfilled one of my long nerd wishes 🥰🥰🥰

The man the my the legend SCOTT SNYDER! When I got in line at 11:30 I had no idea that I would be seeing him at 3:30 💀💀💀 but in the end he was sweet, generous, talkative, and kind! 🙏

I got to tell him how much I’ve always loved his MANY great Batman works over the years from Black Mirror, New 52, detective comics, and now Absolute Batman. Which he deeply appreciated 🙏 and maybe I said the right thing but he did a Batman REMARK on my Absolute Batman 1!! The guys in line had all been hyping up that he does that and everyone hoped they would get one 😅😅 so when he started doing it I was like OMG! 😱

Absolute body breaking line but in the end it was worth it. Got to meet a writer in his prime with the hottest book in comic stores! I’m always meeting the old timers so that was different. So cool!

Thanks to SpookyKidCustoms for a few hook ups today but especially with this! Got me in the ticketed line when I didn’t know I needed a ticket 😅
