A quilt from Miss Dixie (look for the video on 2k’s Antiques page ) At last a star however so much damage - I DID wash it in a washing machine - on delicate - didn’t want it to disappear on you after you purchased it - I can’t even guess the age on this treasure - what can you do with this - fold it and display with your primitives, repair it carefully OR just love the wear and open it up to its true self - measures 68 x 85 in - $55

Scrappy quilt At It BEST - the block pieces are postage stamp size - arrange in a pattern that makes all the colors POP - three color border just frames it perfectly - this has never been washed when I bought but it was so musty - in the washer it went - hung on the clothesline in the Nebraska Summer WIND - fresh and ready for all your needs - decor pop of color, to be used on the bed this winter or to be a little girls bedspread - this quilt
Came from our Arkansas trip - measures 70 x 80 in - $295

A more modern quilt then the most I carry - if I were to guess maybe 1960’s - anyone else have an idea ? Nice solid quilt - hand quilted - LARGE in size so here is one for the Queen/King bed - 80 x 104 in - yellow calico strips on each side of the border - one block is VERY light in color - $125

In NORMAL surroundings I would of never considered this quilt - but I was under the spell of Miss Dixie - to hear the story - you need to find the video on my other page - 2k’s Antiques and Other Junk - it is a modern made quilt - modern fabric - long arm quilted - WONDERFUL colors - one flaw - large in size - I am just trying to get my money back - 92 x 94 - $130

What Family Would Do THIS ????? Grandma did the blocks around 1961 and then was assembled for a wedding shower gift - I am so sorry Grandma Craig - I LOVE IT even if your family did not find it worthy to keep - so the blocks are 1960’s and then it was assembled and long arm quilted - such pretty colors - look at that backing - measures 70 x 84 - $175

Wow - check out the blocks - not one is the same - it is a TRUE scrappy quilt - so many colors - what a pop of color to mix in with your crocks and wooden primitives - SEVERAL pieces have lose - this doesn’t bother me - I kinda of like it cuz I KNOW it was used and loved by its maker which I feel gives it more warmth then a perfect one that spent its life “saved” in a cedar chest - with ALL that is going on w this vintage treasure - the flaws are hard to see but they ARE there - it COULD be used as a cutter and would make a wonder coat with yardage left for small Project’s - it measures 66 x 80 - $125

Here is a quilt That is ready to warm you up on the upcoming cold Nebraska Winter nights - cozy on the sofa - the fabric is early 1900’s but believe that it was assembled later - maybe even into the 40’s??? There are two blocks where the fabric did not hold up To the test of time - they are shown in the last three pictures - the last pic shows placement - this would also be a great one to fold at the bottom Of a bed - to be pulled up
During the night for extra warmth - a GREAT one to make a coat from but the price is firm soooooo- such a solid quilt after you take in consideration of the two blocks - measures 68 x 78 - $125

We have here a HAND sewn Quilt Top - would you call this an Irish Chain ? I love the different red fabrics she used - the triangles along the border sure finish off this pattern - there are some stains - measures 64 x 80 - $90
