We found this & thought it was the simplest breakdown of the Back On Track plan. Please note that plan recommends continuing to wear face masks into the middle of June. That's another 6 weeks.

With many states starting their soft opens, they are asking everyone to still or begin wearing some kind of mask when out in public. Also many businesses are requiring employees & customers to wear them. Crafty Weavers will continue to make 3 layer with filter pocket style cloth masks until there is no longer a need.

All masks are washed/sanitized according to CDC guidelines & are ready to wear at the time of delivery.

Next batch is well on their way! Goal for tomorrow is to add elastic, wash/sanitize, bag & tag all these masks! If I'm really ambitious I might even try to get another set of button headbands done.

Hello all! Just thought I would share a couple of tips/ideas with everyone.

Since we don't need to wear the face masks in our homes it makes sense to leave them in our vehicles so that they're readily available when you have to go out. I mounted a couple of sticky hooks right on the dashboard of my vehicle to keep the masks on.

If you happen to be a glasses wearer (like me and most of my family) then you've probably had to deal with your glasses fogging up when wearing your mask. My solution to that problem is to use an anti-fog treatment on them.

So nothing exactly earth shattering but just a couple of ideas that helped me and may help some of you too.

The following is from the CDC:

How to Wear a Cloth Face Covering
》cover nose to chin
》fit snugly but comfortably against the side of the face
》be secured with ties or ear loops
》include multiple layers of fabric
》allow for breathing without restriction
》be able to be laundered and machine dried without damage or change to shape

CDC on Homemade Cloth Face Coverings
CDC recommends wearing cloth face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain (e.g., grocery stores and pharmacies), especially in areas of significant community-based transmission.

CDC also advises the use of simple cloth face coverings to slow the spread of the virus and help people who may have the virus and do not know it from transmitting it to others. Cloth face coverings fashioned from household items or made at home from common materials at low cost can be used as an additional, voluntary public health measure.

Cloth face coverings should not be placed on young children under age 2, anyone who has trouble breathing, or is unconscious, incapacitated or otherwise unable to remove the mask without assistance.

The cloth face coverings recommended are not surgical masks or N-95 respirators. Those are critical supplies that must continue to be reserved for healthcare workers and other medical first responders, as recommended by current CDC guidance.
