Incorporated in 1961, the Friends of the Madison Public Library provides monetary and volunteer support for the entire Madison Public Library community. September’s theme at the bookstore is Back to School! Featuring poetry, plays, classics, reference, and science books.

Our Blind Books are wrapped and ready to go! This month they are young adult fiction for 50 cents each. Stop in and build your fall TBR list!

Calling all SFF lovers! Our blind books for August are a collection of Sci Fi and Fantasy books. Pick a description that calls to you and escape into a new world! Blind books are $1 for hardcovers and $0.50 for paperbacks.

August’s theme is Summer Escapes, featuring all things fiction! Stop by and find your next summer read. We have also added new special collections of mythology, spiritual powers, and astrology, as well as literature and history. See you in the store soon!

Attention FMPL Bookstore Customers:
We will be unable to accept credit card sales at the Central Library Bookstore beginning at 4:00 pm on Friday, July 31st, through Saturday, August 1st at 5:00 pm. Our ipad and card reader will be in use for the Joint Friends Sale on August 1st. We will gladly accept cash and checks as payment during this time.
