We can't wait for 𝑾𝒆𝒓𝒘𝒖𝒍𝒇, so this year's boxes are inspired by the films of Robert Eggers.

Each box contains at least two (2) books and two (2) nonbook items. Local pick-up and statewide shipping available. Boxes to ship will arrive by 10/31.

A Room of One’s Own Bookstore is thrilled to bring Patti Smith to Madison, in celebration of the paperback release of her newest memoir, Bread of Angels. Join Patti Smith for an intimate evening of Songs & Stories at The Orpheum Theater in the heart of Madison.

Every ticket will include a copy of the celebrated release, and A Room of One’s Own will have her other books for sale at the event. There will not be a signing at this event.

Dear Lovely People,

We are beginning to host a seasonal Poetry/Literary Salon at our lovely bookstore! This will be a venue for local and visiting poets to have a reading at our store. In these 90-minute events, we will feature four readers, with a 10 minute intermission.

Our inaugural Poetry Salon will take place on Thursday August 20th from 6PM-7:30PM.
