Due to weather, The Function (Teen Night) has been postponed to the last Friday in August — Friday, August 28 from 6:00–8:00 PM at Peace Park.

We are so excited to host this much-needed space for teens to express themselves, build community, and simply exist. Created by teens, for teens, The Function is an evening dedicated to youth creativity, connection, and belonging.

In partnership with Cue 608 | Madison, WI and Developing Artists, Murals & Alliances , the event will feature live performances, games, a collaborative mural, raffle prizes, and more. We look forward to welcoming teens from across Madison for an evening where they can show up as themselves, celebrate their voices, and connect with their community.

Acclaimed electric violinist Wendy Lynn Markus , known for bringing her dynamic performances to Madison, Milwaukee, and Chicago, will be performing tomorrow from 12:00–1:00 PM at Olin Terrace at Monona Terrace during Lunchtime Live alongside the Dane County Farmers' Market.

Pick up some fresh produce, baked goods, or flowers from the market, then take a seat on the terrace and unwind with Wendy's captivating instrumental performance. You may have seen her at the Madison Night Market or other local festivals—now's your chance to enjoy her music in one of downtown's most scenic lunchtime settings.

Thank you to everyone who came out for Madison Moves with Blues Dance Madison! We welcomed a great crowd of dancers and community members for an evening of connection, movement, and fun.

Huge shoutout to Blues Dance Madison for leading an incredible beginner lesson, DJ D࣪ VINE🌹🎧✨ for keeping the dance floor jamming all night long, and Insomnia Cookies for treating participants to free cookies! 🍪
