A SPECIAL POST FOR A SPECIAL FRIEND ♡
I first met Alyssa Alyssa | European Inspired Living back when we were both doing shows.
Fast forward a few years and I still remember the day I got a call from her…
“Hey! We should go to France!”
Just like that, completely out of the clear blue, my life was about to change forever.
The wheels were set in motion, our grand French adventure began, and eventually that crazy little idea grew into something we now treasure so much… Le Marché Français. 🇫🇷
I truly cannot think of a better travel partner—or partner in crime.
We both love France fiercely. We both apparently enjoy breaking French traffic laws together with speeding tickets and parking tickets. 😂 And we both absolutely love bringing a little piece of the beauty of France back home.
One of my favorite things is sharing a vision with Alyssa and then watching us bring it to life together. Her talent is second to none and constantly inspires me. She is incredibly smart, wildly creative, and I feel so privileged to work alongside her.
And the best part?
She is JUST GETTING STARTED.
Recently, an incredible opportunity came across her plate, and she was brave enough to say YES.
Cottonwood Shanty is opening another location in New Albany, Ohio!!
A decision like this takes courage, faith, vision, and a tremendous amount of work.
And if anybody can do it, she can.
Sometimes you meet people in life and have no idea how important they are going to become.
You don’t know that one conversation will turn into years of friendship. You don’t know that one phone call will lead you across an ocean. You don’t know that one crazy idea will grow into something that changes your life.
But somehow, that is exactly what happened with Alyssa.
I will always be grateful for the places we have gone, the things we have created, the memories we have made, and especially for the friendship that came with all of it and I look forward to creating many more.
There are people who become part of your story in such a permanent way that you simply cannot imagine the story without them.
She is one of mine.
