Have you heard? We’re rolling out our brand new BELGIAN WAFFLE creations for Chautauqua weekend!!!! Choose from ALL the toppings and sauces on the cheesecake bucket assembly line but pile it on a freshly made fluffy Belgian waffle!!!!! We will be practicing with flavor combos all week. What flavor combo (with and without cheesecake) sounds good to you?!

I can honestly say we are beyond excited to have the last 2 weeks of events in our rearview mirror!!! Somehow Ryan May and I seem to pull off the impossible which only encourages us to continue to bite off more than we can chew! 😜
I’ll admit it…this last marathon was a lot of hard work and WE ARE TIRED! We have purposely not scheduled any large events next week so we can get back to business at the barn and enjoy Chautauqua week!!!! …and don’t forget that Friday 9/25 is DOLLY BARN DAY!
The shops will be open regular hours next week and the RESTAURANT will be OPEN Thursday, Friday, Saturday and on SUNDAY with a special Sunday brunch menu!!!!

If you think things have been crazy for us lately wait until you see what we have lined up this week! The restaurant will remain closed this week as the dining room is currently being used as “Catering Central”! The cheesecake/cheese shop will remain closed as well as we prep for FOUR Saturday events throughout the day and into the evening! 😜
We appreciate everyone’s patience as we fight to keep our heads above water and return to some form of normalcy within the shops at the Trolley Barn but for now the catering is stealing the spotlight!!!!
We will be back to normal hours next week!!!

Mariah came to us straight out of high school with this being her first job!!! She has been a true blessing in the shops! She moved and coming back & forth to Madison just wasn’t feasible anymore which has made us all very sad. She painted this for me Friday night and gifted it to me on Saturday, her last day…😭
Main Street is hosting Dolly Day on 9/25 and we’re transforming the Trolley Barn to the “Dolly Barn” for the day so she made it for our event! ❤️ It’s earned a permanent place hanging on our wall in the dining room and she has earned a permanent spot in my heart! We will miss you Sweet Girl!

Well folks, full transparency with no sugar coating! We have ZERO available employees next week in the cheese & charcuterie/cheesecake bucket shop. Ryan and I are booked solid with catering next week and we can’t be in 2 places at once soooooo sadly we will be experiencing some closures next week. The restaurant will not be open next week due to catering and private events. I’m the rebound Queen but I’m in literal tears when I say I honestly have no clue how to keep the cheese shop open next week without help. It is what it is. 🤷🏼‍♀️
Side note: the ice cream and candy shop will be open normal hours! Mitzi will be keeping the wheels turning down at the barn in the front 2 shops while we’re on the go! ❤️
