BIRDS IN ART 2026🐓🖼️:
This one’s a little deep…is it really “political” if it’s simply stating the honest, horrific fact of colonization?…wasn’t sure it would fly (heh heh) with the jurors, but it did!! Thrilled & honored to say “Plymouth Rock” (yes that’s a breed of chicken) was juried into Birds in Art (5ft color woodcut print). See the full color relief print (and all that surrounding detail—Mayflower, Massasoit etc) at August Solo show at Abel Contemporary Gallery and then in Sept at Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum for Birds in Art 2026!!
