If you’re looking for some high-grade Otteson Turquoise, my cousins and I will be at the Wasatch Gem Society - Gem, Mineral, & Fossil Show that starts in 2 days and goes through Sunday. They’re bringing some really beautiful pieces, and I’ll be there helping out.

I’m also really excited—my cousins are letting me do a soft launch of some of my silversmithed jewelry at their booth. I absolutely love my family and I’m really grateful for their encouragement and support ❤️

Living with an invisible illness is really tough. On the outside I might look fine, but the reality is very different. Yesterday and most of today, I couldn’t move without excruciating pain from the tension in my neck, shoulders, and back. It not only interrupted important plans I had, but also put extra strain on my husband and impacted my kids’ routines. It’s hard knowing my family carries the ripple effects of my pain.

What hurts even more is when people assume I’m being dramatic, lazy, or unreliable. The truth is, I’m pushing through pain most can’t see. I want so badly to show up for the people and commitments in my life, but sometimes my body makes the decision for me.

If you know someone living with an invisible illness, please give them grace... Believe them...It’s not drama—it’s their reality.

And if you find it hard to offer that grace, then please step back with kindness. Those of us living with this can feel when friends or family are resentful, angry, or don’t believe us—and that only adds to the hurt. Sometimes the most loving thing you can do is step aside gently.

**📍Black Rock, Great Salt Lake — Self-Care Adventure**

I took myself on a little adventure this evening (aka self-care time) and wandered out to Black Rock on the edge of the Great Salt Lake. It was *absolutely perfect*—a warm breeze, not too hot, and no bugs in sight.

As I walked, I was serenaded by the whisper of reeds swaying in the wind and treated to a ballet of swallows dancing through the air. I’d never made the trek out to Black Rock before, and I was genuinely in awe of its unique geological features. Naturally, I snapped some photos so I could dig into the details later and learn more about what this formation is made of.

By the time I got back to my car, two hours had flown by. I felt lighter, more grounded, and so full of gratitude for time spent with myself and the earth. And yes... I think I’ve fallen even more in love with Utah. I know—*gasp!* 😄

Oh, and one last note:
I really shouldn’t be left unsupervised... my pockets are full of rocks. 🤭😂🥰

🌞 Happy Sunday!

Huge shoutout to my Utah bestie for her endless patience while I dug through buckets (and buckets) of rocks in the blazing sun to find the perfect pieces for the shop. She kept us hydrated, fed, and even managed to laugh at my dirt mustache moment. 😂

This kind of mess is just part of the magic that goes into curating beautiful stones and crystals for you. 💎
