🐝 What a great week for our Magnolia community!

We had the opportunity to spend some time at the 2026 Magnolia Independent School District FFA Livestock Show, and events like this are a great reminder of why we love being part of this community.

Magnolia Bee & Supply was proud to sponsor the Reserve Grand Champion buckle for the Rabbit Show. Seeing these young exhibitors in the ring — and knowing how much time, early mornings, responsibility, and hard work went into getting there — makes supporting them especially rewarding. 🐇🏆

We were also proud to join other local businesses as part of the Southwest Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce buying team. There is something pretty special about watching businesses and neighbors come together to support these kids and invest directly back into our local agricultural community.

One of the most meaningful moments of the show was seeing Magnolia ISD honor Tony and Dolly Gullo by officially naming the facility the Tony & Dolly Gullo Magnolia ISD Livestock Show Barn.

The Gullo family has meant so much to Magnolia over the years, and especially to generations of FFA students. Tony and Dolly never missed a live auction at the annual Ag Show and spent decades supporting the students who worked so hard to get their animals into that ring.

Seeing their name on the barn where so many young people will show animals, learn, compete, make memories, and maybe even discover a lifelong passion for agriculture seems like a wonderful way to carry that legacy forward.

For us at Magnolia Bee & Supply, supporting agriculture means more than just beekeeping. It's about supporting the families, teachers, volunteers, businesses and — most importantly — the young people who will carry agriculture into the next generation.

We were grateful to be a small part of this year's show and proud to call Magnolia home.

Louisiana, we’re on our way! 🇺🇸🐝

This Friday and Saturday, HiveKeepers will be at the Louisiana Beekeepers Association 64th Annual Convention in Pineville, alongside our good friends at Magnolia Bee & Supply.

We’re really looking forward to this one.

Two days surrounded by beekeepers, suppliers, researchers and people who genuinely care about bees, better beekeeping and great honey. That’s exactly the kind of crowd we love being part of.

We’ll have the Micro Honey Harvester there, so if you’ve seen it online, heard people talking about it, or have simply wondered what all the fuss is about, come over and see it for yourself.

Ask questions. Pick it up. Have a look at the cassettes. Talk honey harvesting with us. We want to hear what Louisiana beekeepers think.

First time out for the Micro Honey Harvester at a market stall, and we spent the morning harvesting fresh honey in front of the people who actually eat it.

Big thanks to Andy from Magnolia Bee & Supply for hosting us in Fulshear, Texas and to Deriece from BEEin’ Sweet Honey & Bees and Monika from Houston Bee Rescue for making it such a good day.

The best part was watching people stop, lean in and start asking questions. The kids especially. Plenty for us to take away from it.
