Meet Yliomene. 🤍

Yliomene has been a Vi Bella artisan in Haiti since 2018. She is known for her smile, the way she encourages others, and the beautiful work she creates to help provide for her three children.

Growing up in the Haitian countryside, school was a luxury. Yliomene was able to attend through third grade before leaving to help her family work in the fields. Today, because of dignified work, she is able to keep food on the table and her own children in school—giving them opportunities she didn’t have.

And right now, that work matters more than ever.

Life in Port-au-Prince has become increasingly difficult and unpredictable, yet artisans like Yliomene continue to show up, create, and provide for their families.

Your October Earring of the Month helped create more than 81 hours of dignified work for six Vi Bella artisans. That’s more than a beautiful pair of earrings. It’s steady work, opportunity, and hope for families in Haiti.
