The store was first located on the corner of FM 1774 and Buddy Riley Blvd. In 1972 John Abney purchased Magnolia Hardware from Dr. Humburg and relocated it to its current location on FM 1488. Thus began a 44 year (and counting), 3 generation business. When John retired in 1990, his son and daughter in law, Charles and Opal, purchased the store and owned it until their retirement in 2010 at which time their son in law and daughter, Mike and Alana bought the store. At Magnolia Hardware we have plumbing, electrical and painting supplies. We also have lumber, concrete mix, rebar and fencing materials. We fill propane, cut keys and we are a licensing agent for Texas Parks and Wildlife. We are a full line sales and service Stihl Elite Dealer. We have a Stihl equipment service department with two full time service technicians.
